Best Place to Age Successfully?

A 87-year-old Hamilton man is dead after being struck by a car on Upper Wentworth in front of Limeridge Mall.

This comes just over a week after a 85-year-old senior was struck and killed crossing the street in Stoney Creek.

In both cases, we have seniors who remained mobile and independent past their mid-80s who die needlessly just crossing the street.

How can Hamilton claim to be the "Best Place to Raise a Child and Age Successfully" when our children and seniors are disproportionately the victims of Hamilton's car-only street design?
